摘要: This paper reviews the current status of research concerned with modeling ionospheric wind dynamo. Simulation models have been reasonably successful in reproducing types magnetic perturbations that are produced by Ionospheric electric fields less well simulated, particularly at night. The primary areas needed to improve our ability simulate realistically dynamo nighttime conditions, hemispherical asymmetries thermospheric tides, and mutual dynamic coupling among winds, conductivities, fields, currents.
