Raman study of vibrational relaxation in liquid benzene-d6 at high pressure

摘要: The Raman line shapes of two totally symmetric bands, ν1 and ν2, five degenerate ν11, ν15, ν16, ν17, ν18, have been measured in liquid benzene‐d6 as a function pressure from 50 bar to 4 kbar over the temperature range 30–120 °C. Some results for benzene are also given. An approximate procedure is used estimate vibrational relaxation width bands. experimental on interpreted terms dephasing model. finding that broadening contributes differently total individual bands represents most important result this study. For all increases with increasing but change seems be specific each band.
