摘要: Generalized Landau-Ginsburg models for systems with coupled order parameters are introduced. Detailed discussion is given a particular model biquadratic coupling between two (second-order) parameters. This includes the complete, rather interesting, phase diagrams within Landau-theory approximation and of fluctuation effects. For these, simple expectations presented based on topology Landau free-energy surfaces renormalization group results including an identification limitations latter. It argued that these very general relevant to many experimental interest.
