摘要: Molecular imaging aims to improve the identification and characterization of pathological processes in vivo by visualizing underlying biological mechanisms. techniques are increasingly used assess vascular inflammation, remodeling, cell migration, angioneogenesis apoptosis. In cardiovascular diseases, molecular magnetic resonance (MRI) offers new insights into biology vessel wall coronary carotid arteries aorta. This includes detection early changes preceding plaque development, visualization unstable plaques assessment response therapy. The current review focuses on recent developments field MRI characterise different stages atherosclerotic disease. A variety MR-probes have been developed non-invasive plaques. Specifically targeted probes allow for key steps cascade leading development arterial lesions. Early which lead atherosclerosis vulnerable may enable therapy, therapy planning, foster prevention events open door patient-specific treatment strategies. • Targeted a level. can identify markers differentiation stable plaques.
