In sections, johnei larger areas cellular but smaller discrete foci. 3 foci multinucleate cells, giant cells Langhans type. may vary from dozen or to diffuse lamina propria. majority cases cannot be demonstrated except cultural examination. 4 lesions similar those described encapsulation, necrosis, caseation calcification present. can only limited even methods. evidence suggests that more virulent for than classical strain.
