摘要: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for scaling performance of Ethernet Ring Protection Protocol. Specifically, the may apply to G.8032 provide protection switching control plane benefits. In an exemplary embodiment, invention summarizes per "virtual" ring protocol into a single logical protocol. Advantageously, transforms from per-virtual per-logical mechanism/methodology that is used include minimal instance information in Automated Switching (R-APS) (control) frames. Additionally, cleanly decouples placement R-APS channel block location on virtual data blocks. Current specifications tightly couple each it managing.
