摘要: Numerical simulations of a simple reaction-diffusion model reveal surprising variety irregular spatiotemporal patterns. These patterns arise in response to finite-amplitude perturbations. Some them resemble the steady recently observed thin gel reactor experiments. Others consist spots that grow until they reach critical size, at which time divide two. If some region become overcrowded, all decay into uniform background.
