Metal complexed acetylenic compounds useful as environmental indicating materials

摘要: Acetylenic complexes are disclosed that useful as environmental indicating materials whereby exposure thereof to stimuli induces a color change. These contain at least one effective complexing metal and acetylenic compound of the general formula: [R--(C"C).sub.a --(CH.sub.2).sub.b --(C"C).sub.c ].sub.2.dHX Wherein is 1 or 2, b about 0-5; c 0 1; with proviso when 1, 0, 0-5 R --(CH 2 ) n -NHC(O)NHR'; wherein an integer 10; R' selected from group consisting of: (a) hydrogen; (b) cycloalkyl; (c) alkenyl; (d) cycloalkenyl; (e) alkyl; (f) phenyl; (g) alkoxy; (h) alkoxy (i) alkoxycarbonylalkyl.
