摘要: Gametogenesis in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii has been studied mating-type plus cells utilizing several different culture conditions, all of which are shown to depend on the depletion nitrogen from medium, and fine structure gametes prepared under these conditions compared by using thin sections fixed materials. We document alterations ribosome levels, chromatin morphology, starch organization chloroplast membranes, appearance nuclear envelope endoplasmic reticulum membranes during gametogenesis. also noted acquisition two new organelles: a mating (Friedman, L., A. L. Colwin, H. Colwin. 1968. j. cell Sci. 3:115-128; goodenough, U. W., R. Weiss. 1975. J. Cell Biol. 67:623-637), Golgi-derived vesicles containing homogeneous material. chart time course morphological changes synchronous note that many may represent adjustments starvation rather than direct features gametic differentiation, we can differentiate so they survive for weeks after become gametes. conclude metabolic alterations, ability, preparation long-term survival elicited this organism withdrawal, discuss how various structural observed study relate three interrelated avenues cellular differentiation.
