摘要: Abstract In the past decade, development of minimally invasive correction primary venous reflux great saphenous vein (GSV) by endovenous techniques has provided a patient-friendly means to treat this disorder as an office- based procedure with ablation GSV using radiofrequency (RFA), laser (EVLA), or sclerotherapy. What do randomized controlled trials (RCT) teach us about these new procedures? There are 7 RCT's (493 patients) in 9 papers comparing RFA open surgery (OS); 12 (2327 16 EVLA OS; 5 (570 EVLA; 6 (699 modifications 2 (153 3 cryostripping; (1406 foam sclerotherapy (166 sclerotherapy; 1 RCT (580 versus OS. Conclusion Based on presented caveats mentioned paper, differences between modern and procedures insignificant no treatment modality can be recommended superior another. Nevertheless it is established that chemical cheapest, but redo-treatment more frequent related recurrence.
