摘要: AstroPower is developing a manufacturing process for the production of large-area Silicon-Film™ solar cells under an NREL-administered PVMaT cost-share program. Recent work has focused on new processes and equipment capable handling very large planks in low-cost, high-throughput, environment. New cell developed include continuous junction diffusion AR coating. Processes development metallization chemical etching. Large area plank-based give high degree flexibility, allowing fabrication 100 cm2 to 900 same line.
