摘要: Abstract Swelling properties of four commercial anion-exchange membranes with different structure have been analyzed in several hydro-organic media. With this target, the liquid uptake and surface expansion contact pure liquids, water alcohols (methanol, ethanol 1-propanol), water–alcohol mixtures concentrations experimentally determined presence absence an alkaline medium (LiOH, NaOH KOH concentrations). The alkali-metal doping effect on membrane has also investigated, analyzing influence hydroxide concentration alcohol solution. results show that plays essential role nature media selective membrane. heterogeneous membranes, lower density, higher uptakes dimensional changes than homogeneous regardless conditions.
