摘要: The nematodes of the genus Skrjabingylus (family Metastrongylidae) can parasitise nasal and frontal sinus cavities different carnivore species. Until recently, petrowi Bageanov & Petrov, 1941, has mainly been described in pine martens (Martes martes Linnaeus, 1758) sables zibellina sampled European part former Soviet Union. Newer finds stone marten foina Erxleben, 1777) from parts Europe suggest, however, that species might have a broader host-species range than previously assumed be geographically more widespread as well. Since most S. records resulted chance discoveries rather systematic surveys, very little is known about prevalence populations. Here, we report results 20-year extensive survey fresh skulls, where tested 1.059 carcasses originating 248 localities Germany for presence petrowi. We identified an infestation only four M. individuals one foina, despite using reliable identification method. Based on spicule lengths male nematodes, parasites were genetic barcoding confirmed samples. In phylogenetic analysis, nasicola (Leuckart, 1842), formed sister clade to all other members family Metastrongylidae. low possibly due its parasitising two are either not common (M. martes) or predominantly live urban habitat foina).
