摘要: Large marine-terminating glaciers around the margins of Greenland Ice Sheet have retreated, accelerated and thinned over last two decades. Relatively little is known about longer term behaviour Sheet, yet this information valuable for assessing significance modern changes. We address by reporting 11 new beryllium-10 (10Be) exposure ages from previously uninvestigated coastal areas across southeast Greenland. The are combined with existing data region to assess timing glacier retreat after Last Glacial Maximum. results show that deglaciation occurred first in north (~68°N) progressed southwards.
