摘要: Domestic dogs in the Near East have been identified on basis of cultural criteria, but identifications based morphological criteria are controversial. Measurements carnassial teeth and facial region cranium mandible reveal that wolf/dog remains from Natufian (c. 12,000 BP) later cultures Israel exhibit a pattern is opposite expected under natural selection, conforms well to early domestication. The Geometric Kebaran wolves preceding domesticates very large individuals, probably response climatic conditions period, this may indicate one following: (a) domesticated were race, contrary previous theories roots dog domestication; (b) was at period earlier than Natufian.
