摘要: The spliceosome is the RNP complex than catalyses removal of introns from Uridine-rich small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (U snRNPs) that make up main components this complex. production these RNPs an intricate process, involving several key stages. These include: 1) transcription U snRNAs; 2) their export; 3) cytoplasmic assembly snRNP; 4) import; 5) processing within Cajal bodies and nucleolus; 6) storage in interchromatin granule clusters (IGCs). This review focuses on each stages, discussing complexes involved as well trafficking targeting mechanisms involved.
