摘要: Citrus sinensis and limon peels were used to synthesize two different kinds of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) via an unsophisticated inexpensive carbonization procedure. The proposed synthesis is straightforward adheres the principles green chemistry since no organic solvents are toxic by-products formed, while residual resources employed facilitate large scale dots. proved be excellent precursors for CQDs with highly practical applications. display strong excitation-independent, blue fluorescence, which stable over time. Splendid water dispersibility, photostability stability a wide range pH some main advantages CQDs, enable them as fluorescent probes. Although many their features alike, our findings demonstrate that each kind lend itself quite distinct analytical developed probes possess high potential sensitive selective detection Fe3+ (Citrus CQDs) tartrazine quenching mechanism. decrease in fluorescence intensity linear relationship concentrations ranges 0.01-1.0μM 0.6-23.5μΜ, respectively. Moreover, low cytotoxicity reinforces applicability towards cell bioimaging intracellular Fe3+, further studied.
