Preparative, electroenzymatic reduction of ketones on an all components-immobilized graphite felt electrode

摘要: Abstract A thin cation-exchange polymer (Nafion)- and poly(acrylic acid) layers-coated graphite felt electrode immobilizing all mediation components of methyl viologen, NAD + , diaphorase alcohol dehydrogenase to construct a complete bioelectrochemical reactor was prepared applied electroenzymatic reduction ketones in phosphate buffer at constant potential −0.80 V vs sce . S -Isomers 2- 3-methylcyclohexanone were enantioselectively reduced the corresponding (1 2 )-(+)-2- 3 )-(−)-3-methylcyclohexanol, respectively, high current efficiency (98.6 96.5%), yield (almost quantitatively) enantiomeric excess (ee) (100 93.1%), respectively. The unreacted ketones, ( R )-(−)-2- )-(+)-3-methylcyclohexanone, recovered recovery 96%) ee (99.6 95.8%),
