摘要: Abstract Transcription of the human erythropoietin (EPO) gene is activated in Hep3B cells exposed to hypoxia. Hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) a nuclear whose DNA binding activity induced by hypoxia cells, and HIF-1 binds at site EPO enhancer that required for hypoxic activation transcription. In this paper, we demonstrate also variety mammalian cell lines which not transcribed. The composition complex its isolated subunit mechanism appear be similar or identical EPO-producing non-EPO-producing cells. Transcription reporter genes containing mutations eliminate inducibility. These results provide evidence recognition sequence are common components general cellular response
