摘要: These studies explore the role of carbohydrate recognition systems and direct involvement terminal alpha 1-3-linked fucose in clearance lactoferrin from murine circulation specific binding to receptors on peritoneal macrophages. As previously reported, radiolabelled cleared very rapidly (t1/2 less than 1 min) after intravenous injection into mice. However, competing levels ligands for hepatic galactose receptor (asialo-orosomucoid), (fucosyl-bovine serum albumin), mononuclear-phagocyte system pathway recognizing mannose, N-acetylglucosamine (mannosyl-, N-acetylglucosaminyl- fucosyl-bovine albumin) did not block vivo or mouse macrophage monolayers vitro. Almond emulsin 1-3-fucosidase was used prepare defucosylated which 88% hydrolysed. No difference observed between native lactoferrin. Fucoidin, a fucose-rich algal polysaccharide, completely inhibits vitro This effect, however, is probably result competition receptor, since gel-filtration demonstrated formation stable complex fucoidin. The present results indicate that lactoferrin-clearance distinct several pathways mediating glycoprotein through galactose, fucose, mannose. Furthermore, essential
