摘要: The critical infrastructure (CI) elements in the United States are highly interconnected and interdependent. Recent cases of extreme events–either nature or human-caused– have demonstrated ripple effects propagating from one to another reflecting interdependencies. Among many CIs, electric power transportation systems exhibit a higher level interdependencies, it is vital model system holistically understand vulnerable states temporal spatial dimensions considering interconnectedness cascading effects. This study developed graph-theory based analysis framework interdependencies between systems– road networks. CI integrated by building heterogeneous graph that includes sections, electrical substations, utility headquarters, traffic signal nodes, other relevant nodes. We report results case Seattle, Washington different scenarios– network disruption types, congestion level, uncertainty restoration time.
