摘要: Several commonly used strains of laboratory mice from Charles River Laboratories were found to produce extremely low or undetectable levels serum immunoglobulins bearing lambda 1 light chain (lambda Ig). Individual CF-1, CD-1, and CFW random-bred tested for levels, 1-specific anti-NP responses, genomic polymorphisms at the locus. In all cases, a complete correlation among these parameters was observed. The results indicated that nearly CFW, greater than 70% CD-1 but none CF-1 produced chain. Ig production is due genetic defect either similar identical observed in SJL mice. data suggest locus are derived common ancestor. We also surveyed series wild Mice producing frequently with captured diverse geographic areas, including Europe, Middle East, Asia, South America. Preliminary study suggests different SJL, implies other mechanisms regulate
