Management of the extraction socket and timing of implant placement: Consensus report and clinical recommendations of group 3 of the XV European Workshop in Periodontology

摘要: Background The transition from a tooth requiring extraction to its replacement (with dental implant) requires series of clinical decisions related timing, approach, materials, cost-effectiveness and the assessment potential harm patient preference. This workshop focused on formulation evidence-based consensus statements recommendations. Methods Four systematic reviews covering areas alveolar ridge preservation/bone grafting, immediate early delayed implant placement bone augmentation at time in healed formed basis deliberations. level evidence supporting each statement strength was described using modification GRADE tool.
