摘要: The Green-Ampt (GA) model is widely used in hydrologic studies as a simple, physically-based method to estimate infiltration processes. accuracy of the for applications under rainfall conditions (as opposed initially ponded situations) has not been studied extensively. We compared calculated results various soils obtained using existing GA parameterizations with those by solving Richards equation variably saturated flow. Results provided an overview performance evaluated means root-meansquare-error-based objective function across large region parameter space equation, which showed need seeking optimal parameters. Subsequent analysis enabled identification parameters that close fit equation. were found substantially outperform standard theoretical parameters, thus improving utility and simulations conditions. A sensitivity analyses indicated may change some scenarios, but are relatively stable high-intensity events.
