摘要: Autonomous agents operating in a dynamic environment must be able to reason about their actions pursuit of goals. An additional consideration for such is that may constrained by norms aim at defining an acceptable behaviour the agents. The inclusion normative reasoning into practical derived from necessity effective mechanisms regulate agent’s open without compromising autonomy. However, conflict between agents’ individual goals and societal (i.e. norms) makes deciding what do complicated activity. Argumentation enables decision-making presence supports explaining mechanism terms dialogue. need explanation complex task undertaken autonomous entity lies importance facilitating human understanding entities consequently increasing trust these systems. Existing argumentation-based approaches often ignore role commonly neglect dialogical aspect argumentation explain process reasoning. To address shortcomings, research presented this thesis allows agent use support while why decision made. end, we demonstrate model permits plan conflicting norms. We frameworks conflicts weighing up goal achievement norm compliance against cost being ignored violated each plan. Such serves as basis identifying best execute, explained using natural language translation proof dialogue game.
