摘要: SEVERAL investigators1, using isotope techniques, have failed to reproduce Kogl's results on the d(−)glutamic acid content of tumour proteins. All such experiments were based hydrolysis proteins with concentrated hydrochloric acid. Kogl tried explain discrepancies as due differing methods hydrolysis2; but strangely enough, feeding never been repeated. In 1940, was able isolate, after hydrolysis, from faeces a dog which had fed Brown–Pearce tissue; in 1948, he obtained similar way pure d-pyrrolidonic protein3 method Ratner, that is, extraction urine ethyl acetate at pH 2 and precipitation barium4. No objections can be raised these methods.
