摘要: Abstract The growth mode, structure and thermal stability of ultrathin Fe, Co Ni films on Mo(110) surfaces is studied by Auger electron spectroscopy, low energy diffraction, work function change measurements at various temperatures above room temperature desorption spectroscopy. In all cases pseudo-Frank-van der Merwe found near temperature, Stranski-Krastanov intermediate alloying higher temperatures. structural rearrangements during occur already in the submonolayer range, Fe only towards end second monolayer. Implications for study magnetic properties are discussed.
