摘要: The Gabonese Agency for Space Studies and Observations (AGEOS) was set up in 2010 with one of its aims to develop a national forest monitoring capability. In addition, the European (ESA) has developed activities Congo basin through REDD extension GMES Service Element on Forest Monitoring program (GSE FM). ESA GSE FM project is seen by authorities as precursor establishment newly created AGEOS cover. During this phase production area maps cover change 1990, 2000 initiated wall approach total Gabon about third country 2010. Initial results confirm generally low level deforestation expected region particular.
