Effect of electrical insulating coatings on the properties of anisotropic electrical-sheet steel

摘要: In this paper, we indicate the necessity of applying insulating coatings (ICs) onto electrical-sheet steel, consider composition these coatings, some problems their application, and effects fabrication conditions on adhesion, thickness variation over opposite surfaces, properties, i.e., quality whole. We report data effect ICs magnetic properties steel caused by appearance directional mechanical stresses in metal due to differences linear thermal expansion coefficients IC. elastic tensile anisotropic steel. Two types are compared. The results were obtained under cold-rolling department at Verkh-Isetsk Metallurgical Works (OOO VIZ-Stal’).
