摘要: Summary Operators and planners of parking guidance information system (PGIS) often encounter the difficulty when how to provide drivers in peak hours. The aim this study was assign demands onto urban network, find positions suitable locate variable message sign (parking VMS), try solve problem drivers. Parking VMS, as most common forms display terminal PGIS, becomes critical designing PGIS. This paper started from analyzing relationship between location performances VMS. If a VMS is placed right along link approaching divarication intersection subsequent “shortest path” previous one, travel time declines abruptly, guiding compliance ratio superior. Then, network-based choice model for proposed. Network modification incremental assignment were used intersections caused by changes space availability. In addition, MATLAB software package (MathWorks, Inc., Natick, MA, USA) adopted calculate entire process mentioned. proposed algorithm applied numerical example, where obtained.
