摘要: The aim of present work was to produce pure nickel aluminate (NiAl2O4) nanoceramic compound by high energy milling carbonate (NiCO3) and aluminum (Al) powders followed annealing. Phase composition, thermal behavior, morphology microstructure powder samples were characterized means X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimeter, thermogravimetric analysis, electron microscopy transmission microscopy. results showed that formation NiAl2O4 spinel from NiCO3 Al took place in three steps: oxidation Al2O3, decomposition NiO CO2, finally the solid state reaction between Al2O3 NiO. It also demonstrated single phase can be produced 5 h mechanical with subsequent annealing NiCO3/Al mixture at 900 °C for 2 h, which is ∼500 lower than temperatures used traditional methods. particle diameter found less 100 nm as measured
