摘要: The purpose of the present study was (i) to construct a short scale with high internal reliability for use as measure "diurnal type" (morning or evening disposition), (ii) validate constructed index against sleep/wake behavior in connection different workhours, (iii) inter- and intraindividual consistency over 1-a interval, (iv) examine effects changed workhours on diurnal type scores. Three hundred shift workers filled out same questionnaire twice interval. An seven items yielding Cronbach alpha coefficient 0.75. analysis showed that morning active (MA) individuals rose earlier went bed than (EA) individuals, former had longer sleep length latter during days shift, while opposite true afternoon night shifts. During more EA took naps, but MA group naps often group. fewer complaints shift. correlation (r - 0.79, p less 0.001) between two administrations interval between. Those who from work day tended report pronounced disposition. However interindividual still pronounced. It concluded resulted measurements it differentiated types habits.
