摘要: Results on the nonlinear behavior of Rayleigh–Taylor instability and consequent development shear flow by [Phys. Fluids B 4, 488 (1992)] are presented. It is found that generated at sufficient amplitude to reduce greatly convective transport. For high viscosity, time‐asymptotic state consists an equilibrium with vortex (with islands, or ‘‘cat’s eyes’’), a relaxation oscillation involving interplay between in presence shear. low dominant feature high‐frequency standing wave consisting vortices localized near top bottom boundaries.
