摘要: The inhibition of herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) plaque formation by acycloguanosine (ACG) was assayed in human fetal lung fibroblasts (HL), cell lines from cervical carcinoma, rabbit cornea, and rhabdomyosarcoma, three green monkey kidney lines. ACG concentration giving 50% reduction (PR50) HSV-1 lowest HL. In two lines, relatively insensitive to ACG, with PR50 25 60 muM, respectively. the other cells, showed an intermediate sensitivity ACG. Also, HSV-2 more sensitive HL than cells. on cells studied as a function increasing MOI constant An increased decreased cytomegalovirus (CMV), strain Ad. 169, four fresh CMV isolates At low MOIs, five strains were somewhat values ranging 450 muM high MOIs none sensitive. at concentrations 200 or less did not significantly affect host DNA synthesis, measured 3H-thymidine incorporation. culture, herpesviruses appears be complex, depending virus, concentration, condition
