摘要: Globally, cutaneous cancers are among the most common form of cancer. Among Africans, there significant differences in types skin cancer compared to those documented patients from other countries. We evaluated all with a histological diagnosis presenting University Calabar Teaching Hospital January 2005 through December 2006. Twenty-nine (18 males and 11 females) were identified these accounted for 8.0 percent total malignancies. Their ages ranged 16 70 years (mean 43.5 years). Kaposi sarcoma (KS) was associated HIV represented 81.8 KS cases found. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) ranked second malignant melanoma third.
