摘要: This study reports on the use of services by Medicare enrollees who died in 1978. Decedents comprised 5.9 percent group but accounted for 28 expenditures. The became more intense as death approached. Despite idea that heroic efforts to prolong life are common, only 6 persons had than $15,000 expenses their last year life. As shown here, unique patterns health care decedents and survivors should be fully understood considered when contemplating changes program.
