摘要: Vigna species are important food resources and traditionally used for the treatment of various diseases. In this study, we examined inhibitory effects nakashimae (VN) extract on high-fat diet (HFD)-induced hepatic steatosis elucidated molecular mechanisms. C57BL/6J mice were fed an HFD with or without VN 16 weeks. decreased HFD-induced body weight, liver lipid accumulation, plasma alanine aminotransferase, suppressed oxidative stress inflammation associated hepatitis. levels expression lipogenic genes in livers HFD-fed mice. significantly increased phosphorylation adenosine monophosphate (AMP)-activated protein kinase (AMPK) acetyl-CoA carboxylase, fatty acid oxidation VN-treated HepG2 cells. Further, inhibited insulin glucose-stimulated lipogenesis conclusion, prevents lipotoxicity through AMPK activation.
