摘要: To elucidate the function of basal ganglia in human disease states, we have recorded their spontaneous neuronal activity during course stereotactic thalamotomy and more recently pallidotomy for Parkinson’s other kinds involuntary movement. The was correlated with that lateral oral thalamus to which internal segment globus pallidus conveying information from striatum is known project. results will be interpreted taking into account recent knowledge about this pallido-striato-thalamic connection.
