摘要: The rise in the numbers of religious “nones” is an almost universal phenomenon across Western world. purpose this study to explore extent which nones are socialized adopt a “no religion” position as children, compared with disaffiliating during their teen or adult years. Related, among those who come from background, we examine timing and depth person's disaffiliation. This sheds light on these issues by combining quantitative analysis samples Alberta, Canada, America, other international contexts qualitative 30 semistructured interviews nones. Building stage decline framework, argue that while disaffiliation has been lead catalyst for growth none population—and offer several observations what fuels disaffiliation—moving forward can should expect irreligious socialization gradually take explaining rising figures.
