摘要: OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to evaluate associated anomalies and outcomes fetuses with prenatally diagnosed hemivertebrae. METHODS Fetuses hemivertebrae, excluding those spina bifida, were identified by searching the prospectively maintained ultrasound databases 4 institutions from 1997 August 2007. Associated birth defects tabulated organ system hemivertebra location. Outcomes included karyotypes, gestational ages, routes deliveries. RESULTS Nineteen had a diagnosis hemivertebrae at mean age +/- SD 20.5 5.4 weeks. Fourteen (73.7%) additional anomalies, which 5 (35.7%) syndromic (4 cloacal exstrophy omphaloceles 1 Jarcho-Levin syndrome). Karyotypes normal in all 11 available cases, each anomalies. neonates live born 34.9 4.3 weeks, 7 (50%) cesarean delivery. Ten (71.4%) delivered before term, (28.6%) growth restricted (<10th percentile). Two (14.3%) these died; both large omphaloceles. remaining pregnancies terminated [21.1%]) or fetal death (1 [5.3%]). CONCLUSIONS Most have often syndromic, affect prognosis. Affected high rates delivery restriction. Neonates nonisolated are more term higher mortality rates.
