摘要: A decade ago as wireless sensor network research took off many researchers in the field denounced use of IP inadequate and contradiction to needs networking. Since then has matured, standard links have emerged, evolved. In this paper, we present design a complete IPv6-based architecture for networks. We validate with production-quality implementation that incorporates techniques pioneered community, including duty-cycled link protocols, header compression, hop-by-hop forwarding, efficient routing effective estimation. addition providing interoperability existing devices, was able achieve an average duty-cycle 0.65%, per-hop latency 62ms, data reception rate 99.98% over period 4 weeks real-world home-monitoring application where each node generates one packet per minute. Our results outperform systems do not adhere any particular or architecture. light demonstration full IPv6 capability, review central arguments led away from IP. believe presence architecture, specifically one, provides strong foundation networks going forward.
