摘要: Abstract Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) were measured in sediment cores from 13 locations South-Western Barents Sea as part of a detailed study the Norwegian seabed under MAREANO program. The generally low PAH levels found, an average around 200 ng g −1 dry weight for sum PAH, indicate inputs petroleum to marine environment area. Differences composition and various ratios natural, mostly petrogenic origin sediments open sea locations, while fjord show higher pyrogenic contents with increase towards upper layers, indicating human activities. Petrogenic deeper at also when normalised total organic carbon (TOC) contents, suggesting natural leakages oil-related
