摘要: Abstract The behavioural effects of huprine X, a new anticholinesterasic inhibitor, as well its on the regulation protein kinase C (PKC), mitogen activated (MAPK) and α-secretase (ADAM10 TACE/ADAM17) related to amyloid precursor (APP) processing remain be established. In present work, 12 month old 126/Sv × C57b/6 male mice which received chronic i.p. treatment with either saline, X (0.04 µmol kg−1) or (0.12 µmol kg−1), were submitted battery tests thereafter brains dissected study neurochemical induced by X. results show that, in dose dependent manner, facilitates learning memory Morris water maze improves some indicators emotionality without inducing adverse effects, affecting motor activity nor anxiety-like behaviours, measured open-field corner tests. Moreover activation downstream PKC/MAPK signaling pathways may underly these stimulation non-amyloidogenic APP. Results obtained herein using sample aged animals strongly suggest that constitutes promising therapeutic agent for cholinergic dysfunction underlying aging and/or dementias.
