摘要: TRH or saline was administered to 214 term pregnant women at various time intervals (8-820 min) before delivery. Cord blood (CB) obtained, and plasma TSH, T4, T3, rT3, thyroglobulin concentrations were measured by specific RIA. CB TSH significantly elevated within 20 min after administration remained for 180 min. T3 rose 60 (820 T)4 increased from 120 820 administration. There no significant change in the concentration. These findings demonstrate first that crosses human placenta, fetal pituitary is responsive TRH, endogenous stimulates thyroid.
