Population size and breeding performance of the Lanner Falcon Falco biarmicus in Sicily: conservation implications

摘要: ABSTRACTCapsule: We report a significant reduction in population size and breeding success for the Lanner Falcon Falco biarmicus Sicily, its biggest stronghold Europe, since latest coordinated survey.Aims: To provide updated information on current of Sicily to compare parameters with those obtained previous studies.Methods: performed an intensive field survey literature review across species range.Results: Overall, we monitored 126 territories throughout where had been reported last 15 years.
