摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter evaluates three oxy-fuel power generation concepts—Water-cycle, Graz-cycle and Matiant-cycle, based on direct stoichiometric combustion with oxygen. Considering cycle efficiency given similar computational assumptions, the latest versions of Matiant-cycle seem to give rather efficiencies, while Water-cycle is 3-5%points behind. The a Rankine-type cycle, mixed Brayton/Rankine more recent combined topping/bottoming cycle. Generally, Brayton cycles, in combination Rankine exhibit higher efficiencies than cycles alone. thermodynamic explanation for this that have ratio temperatures at which heat supplied to, rejected from, compared According Carnot definition, improved when temperature increases.
