摘要: The optical response of metallic nanoparticle heteroaggregates with welldefi ned, subnanometric interparticle gaps is studied both theoretically and experimentally for clusters formed by nanoparticles different size and/or material (Au Ag). spectra the aggregates can be understood in terms excitation chain-like plasmon modes, which are associated short long linear chains that constitute cluster internally. dependence properties on nanoparticles, gaps, dielectric environment revealed model electromagnetic calculations. A rigid molecular linker, cucurbit[5]uril, used to form Au sized particles, as well silver gold. It shown types heteroaggregates, ratio two provides a versatile easily controllable way tailor dominant long-wavelength chain mode. Experimental tracing such time during aggregation supports formation attributed inside clusters.
