摘要: Abstract In this study, the iron nanoparticles were synthesizedusing a decoction of locally isolated microalga, Planktochlorella nurekis The characterization phyco-synthesized (ZVI-PN) done by UV–Visible spectroscopy, FTIR, HR-TEM/EDAX, XRD, AFM and zeta potential. as-synthesized used as adsorbent for acetaminophen remediation from aqueous solutions. HR-TEM images showed poly-dispersed ZVI-PN size 13-29 nm with spherical shape. results FTIR analysis revealed that bioactive compounds present in microalgae are capable synthesis stabilization ZVI-PN. optimum adsorption conditions initial pH3.0; temperature 30 °C, salinity (NaCl) concentration 20 mg/L 105mg/L (7 mL). could remove 98.6% 91.3% pure river water samples respectively. maximum monolayer coverage capacity was found to be 105 mg/L. Langmuir isotherm model explained experimental equilibrium data fitted well pseudo second-order kinetic model.
