摘要: the authors note, this is a very difficult problem to solve, even numerically, since it involves large deformations, moving boundaries and non-linear material behav- iour. The have used an axi-symmetric finite element analysis presented numerical results for displacement, stress pore water press- ure fields around cone tip at failure penetra- tion under undrained conditions. Failure defined as condition where penetration proceeds in- definitely constant pressure. Results are also given relationships between resistance depth.
