摘要: A high-resolution palynological study of a recently acquired core from the southern part Ormen Lange field (Norway) over Danian-aged reservoir interval revealed rich, diverse and well-preserved palynomorph assemblages. Review these assemblages has allowed opportunity to formally describe some dinoflagellate cysts previously left in open nomenclature others recognised for first time this well. We propose paper formal description 10 new species: Achomosphaera eggadania sp. nov., progranulata Areoligera constricta pauciornata Deflandrea variabilis Eurydinium ovatum Glaphyrocysta pseudoreticulata Hystrichosphaeridium pachydermum Operculodinium runtata nov. Phthanoperidinium ormenlangei All key diagnostic morphological features each species are discussed compared with those other forms outside within same genera. The presented all range throughout Danian (Early Paleocene) can be used conjunction published markers support enhance stratigraphic breakdown subdivision across field, potentially areas North Sea basin.
